Happy Birthday Logan

Logan turned two years old on March 27, 2009. We celebrated by leaving the house at 6:30 am for High Plains Surgery. He started running a fever again that Wednesday when he was still on antibiotic. I got him into the ear specialist early on Wednesday. He said Logan needed tubes in his ears because neither ear was healthy and he could do it on Friday. I was apprehensive at first because of how quick the doctor wanted to do it and plus it was his birthday, but Jose and thought we should do it so he will start feeling better.
In the waiting room.....waiting...
His pretty nurse once we got called back to the other waiting room! They gave Logan a little bit of medicine to make him relaxed. Jose was laughing at him because he was acting pretty loopy!

After the surgery. He did pretty good afterwards. He wanted his Daddy. Jose walked around with him and he was pretty content. Since the surgery Logan has been sleeping much better. He has been going to bed at 8:30 and waking up to get in bed with us in the middle of the night and then he goes right back to sleep and I have to wake him up in the mornings to take the girls to school. He used to be up between 6-7 am. It seems like he is talking more too.

Saturday we celebrated his birthday with a small party. Logan picked out this monkey pinata. Isn't he cute! Logan getting ready to beat the monkey until he spits out the candy...

Rayden chopped off the monkey's legs. It was funny watching the kids. They had a blast.

We are ready for ice cream cake. See the cute monkeys. Thank you Haylee http://hayleepotter.blogspot.com/! You are turning into quite the cake lady.

Logan just wanted to dig in!
Logan got a t-ball set from the Potter's. He loves it. He refuses to hit the ball until you count 1, 2, 3...and then he will hit the ball and ask if we want more!

We got Logan's new bedroom furniture http://www.ashleyfurniture.com/ in on his birthday too. Check out this link and you can see his bedroom suite pop up. I can't wait to get his bedroom fixed up for a big boy! We are doing Texas Longhorn theme...requested by his Dad!
Logan's new words are pop-corn, gum, yum, and I'm done. He still loves to play outside and loves, loves his sisters. He wants Ariel continuously....he is asking for her all the time. He has been riding her around on the back of his tricycle. He loves it when Ariel takes a bath with him. He loves to blow kisses. We are working on getting him potty trained. He had his first poopy in the potty Thursday night! He does pretty good if we take him. He doesn't tell us yet that he needs to go.

BOYS WILL BE BOYS!!!!

Logan is finally feeling better. Through all of this sickness he has morphed into a "real" boy. You know the kind that you pray your son never becomes or the kind your pray your daughters never marry. The kind that flicks boogers, farts and then blames it on his bootie, burps, throws food, and spits in your face! Somewhere in between all the antibiotics, injections, Tylenol and Motrin, Mommas little boy has developed every bad habit you can think of. How did I get so lucky? He practically has new living quarters in a cold metal chair now known as "The Hot Seat"! This is the same little boy who can't fall asleep without cuddling with his Mom and gets his feelings hurt if I roll over and turn my back to him in the middle of the night. The same little bundle of sweetness that says "Bless you Mom" every time I sneeze. Now, how does a mother with two daughters seek revenge on her little bundle of sweetness when he has turned into an ornery stinker?

Isn't she...I mean HE beautiful?!

Jose said these pictures were not allowed on the blog....
Both the girls wore this cute little summer dress. I think it was a garage sale find.

This will be used many years to come. I'm almost certain!!
