We leave in 27 days for Washington DC. We are all very excited to take a much needed break. This will be a great educational vacation for the entire family, excluding Logan. Logan gets to stay with his Abuelita and cousin April while we are gone. We will stay with my Uncle Todd that I haven't seen since I was in high school living in Washington State. Todd is my dad's youngest brother. He is retiring from the Army on June 10. We will be there for his ceremony and retirement party. Before Todd moved to DC he was stationed in Italy where he married a beautiful Italian woman, Anna, pronounced Onna. They have a beautiful daughter, Sabrina who is Ariel's age. I think they will have a great time together. I am excited to meet my little italian cousin and aunt. I've already been telling Logan how much I will miss him. I wouldn't mind taking him, but I think it would be too hard hauling him around all of the museums. He needs some bonding time with his grandma anyway, right?

No, I'm not going to be able to make it for girl's weekend. Beighlee doesn't get out of school until that day, and we are trying to cut back on extra expenses. You guys have a good time though. I'll be thinking about you.
Sounds fun...can we leave Kaders w/ grandma too?
